In Madrid this season, Alaba remains a primary choice for the team. He has appeared 11 times in LaLiga but has only played once in the Champions League.
Speculation about Alaba’s future has surfaced, suggesting a return to the Bundesliga, but the destination remains unspecified, according to English media outlet 90min.
Alaba is under contract with Madrid until June 2026 and has clear goals to achieve with Los Blancos.
“I don’t think that far. I feel very comfortable in Madrid,” said Alaba to 90min.
“I love Real Madrid, and I have very clear goals. My mind is not focused elsewhere,” he emphasized.
With Madrid, Alaba has won numerous trophies, including La Liga, Copa del Rey, Spanish Super Cup, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup.
In terms of individual honors, Alaba has been included in the La Liga 2021/2022 season’s best XI. Additionally, he has made it into the squad of the best players in the Champions League for the 2021/2022 season.
