Liverpool’s first goal came in the 20th minute when Trent Alexander-Arnold executed a powerful free-kick that sailed into Fulham’s goal uncontested by Bernd Leno.

Fulham equalized four minutes later through Harry Wilson’s goal. Liverpool regained the lead in the 38th minute through Alexis Mac Allister.

Mac Allister’s goal was as spectacular as Alexander-Arnold’s free-kick. The Argentine star unleashed a long-range shot that thundered into the top corner of Fulham’s goal.

Kenny Tete forced a 2-2 draw just before halftime. Fulham took the lead in the second half, precisely in the 80th minute, with Bobby De Cordova-Reid’s goal.

Liverpool leveled the score at 3-3 in the 87th minute. Wataru Endo scored a first-time shot near the penalty box after receiving a pass from Mohamed Salah.

One minute later, Trent Alexander-Arnold showcased his skills. He released a volley near the penalty spot that smoothly slid into the bottom right corner of Fulham’s goal, sealing Liverpool’s 4-3 victory.

Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp was amazed by his team’s goals against Fulham. According to him, all the players who scored displayed world-class quality.

“I’ve never seen a game with so much world-class quality like this, a competitive match. Trent’s free-kick was extraordinary,” Klopp said after the Liverpool vs. Fulham match, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.

“Macca [Mac Allister], before the game, you could see his right foot today, and he was really ready to shoot. I thought, ‘You should give it a try,’ and he clearly had the same mindset,” he continued.

“Wataru was crucial. He came in, that was really good. Winning decisive challenges, superb passes, the best goal. Trent, scoring his second goal. Honestly, for whatever reason, I didn’t see the ball go in. I might have been turning at that moment; I haven’t seen it again. But everything was quite special,” Klopp revealed.

This victory propels Liverpool to the second position in the current Premier League standings. The Reds have collected 31 points, trailing Arsenal by 2 points at the top.
