Jose Mourinho, the former coach of Real Madrid, expresses surprise at the possibility of Ancelotti leaving.
Ancelotti’s current contract with Madrid is set to expire next summer. There have been speculations that the seasoned Italian coach may depart at the end of the season to take charge of the Selecao, with recent reports even suggesting that Ancelotti has already signed a contract with the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF).
In response to these rumors, Madrid is reportedly considering extending a new two-year contract to Ancelotti. The former tactician of Juventus, AC Milan, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain is said to be interested, despite being aware of the potential threat of dismissal if expectations are not met.
Jose Mourinho, who spent three years as the coach of Real Madrid, winning LaLiga, Copa del Rey, and the Super Cup, advises his colleague and alludes to his own departure from Santiago Bernabeu. Mourinho believes that only someone “crazy” would leave Real Madrid when still desired, and in his case, he acknowledges being that “crazy” person.
Mourinho expresses confidence in Ancelotti staying at Real Madrid, stating that Ancelotti is perfect for the club, and the club is perfect for him. Ancelotti is currently in his second stint with Madrid, having led the team in over 250 matches and securing a total of 10 championship titles, including one LaLiga title and two Champions League trophies.
